wpStoreCart 2.0.6 Released,

There’s a lot of cool stuff in wpStoreCart 2.0.6, things that I wish had been included in version 2.0.0, but I am to say that just a little over 2 weeks after version 2.0.0, have finally made it in the shipping version. For example, now you can select the currency that your site is in (wpStoreCart > Settings > Payment > Currency) Other cool additions are 3 new CSS files which include image based buttons, which you can play with at wpStoreCart > Settings > Product Display > wpStoreCart Theme. Another much needed addition, was the inclusion of 13 new CSS classes in which you can easily style your cart to integrate it with your site and theme. Remember, a full list of available CSS selectors are available here: https://wpstorecart.com/documentation/styles-designs/ Checkout a full list of what’s new in version 2.0.6 and download it today!

  • Added the ability to switch the sites currency (for PayPal only at this time)
  • Fixed a bug where commas could not be used in product titles
  • 3 new wpsc CSS themes added, which include image buttons: bright.css, small-grey.css, and blue-and-blocky
  • Added the following CSS class attributes to client side elements: wpsc-addtocart, wpsc-thumbnail, wpsc-individualqtylabel, wpsc-individualqty, wpsc-qtylabel, wpsc-qty, wpsc-h1, wpsc-checkout, wpsc-empty, wpsc-update, wpsc-paypalcheckout, wpsc-authorizenetcheckout, wpsc-2checkoutcheckout
  • Fixed a bug that required admin to use the shopping cart widget in order for the cart to work
  • Admin CSS altered for low resolutions, buttons resized
  • jQuery added to the Settings page during updates
  • When you update your settings on the Settings page, the tab you were on is selected automatically
  • Updated the payment gateways for wpStoreCart PRO

    Currently setting up WP plus this shop plugin. First time I have a good feeling about a shop plugin. Been trying many and all had one or another problem. Thanks! Good job!

    I have the main plugin on svn so I can update effortlessly… But how to update when PRO is updated please? I only see the original download for PRO in my orders.

      The PRO version is made up of several individual products, namely: wpscPayments PRO, wpscAffiliate PRO, and ASRGS. Each of these products will inform you in their respective admin page when there is a new version.

    So far I have to say I’m loving this plugin but here’s my dilemma: I have a lot of digital products for sale and the audio files are upwards of 60MB each, with one or two being a lot bigger. Does the pro version allow me to upload larger files or multiple files per product?

      Thanks Matt, I’m glad you’re loving the plugin. Keep an eye out for version 2.2 which will be released shortly. It has over two months of hard programming work, translating into tons of new features. To address your issues:

      You can already do multiple files per product, just select multiple files when you click the Upload button. The filesize limitation has absolutely nothing to do with wpStoreCart, and everything to do with PHP and Apache.

      If you can directly edit your php.ini files, then change these values to whatever you need, for example, if you needed 222MB, use this code:

      upload_max_filesize = 222M
      post_max_size = 222M

      If you don’t have access to edit php.ini, try this in your .htaccess file:

      php_value upload_max_filesize 222M
      php_value post_max_size 222M

      If that gives you a 500 server error, then you do not have permissions from your host to add php_value commands to your .htaccess file. In this case, you’ll need to email your host and explain the situation. They may or may not accommodate your needs depending on your host and hosting plan. Hope that clarifies things for you.
